To verify your identity, open Identification, fill in your personal details, upload a government ID and take a selfie. After review, your level is verified and you can add proof of address for the next level.

What are the verification levels?

• Level 1, ID verification: your personal details, a photo of a government ID and a selfie.
• Level 2, address verification: a document that shows your name and address.

Each level can raise your daily withdrawal limit (counted in USD). The exchange may also require verification before you withdraw or join some staking offers and bonuses.

Which documents are accepted?

For ID verification you can use a passport, national ID card, driver's licence, residence or work permit and other ID types listed on the page. Some documents need a photo of the front and back, others a single image.

For address verification you can use a utility bill, bank statement, internet bill, tax statement, mortgage statement or landline bill.

Step by step

1. Open Identification and start ID verification.
2. Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your document.
3. Choose the document type and upload clear photos (front and back if asked).
4. Take or upload a selfie.
5. Submit and wait for the review. Your status changes to Under review.
6. When level 1 is verified, submit proof of address for level 2.

How long does the review take?

Your documents are reviewed by our team or by a verification provider. The time depends on the review queue, so check the status on the Identification page.

What do the statuses mean?

• Not submitted: you have not sent this level yet.
• Under review: your documents are being checked.
• Verified: this level is complete.
• Failed: something was wrong. The reason is shown and you can submit again.

Tips for a quick approval

• Use a valid, unexpired document.
• Make sure all four corners are visible and the text is sharp, with no glare.
• Your name and date of birth must match the document.
• For address proof, use a recent document that shows your full name and address.
