Getting started: create, verify and secure your account

This guide takes you from a new account to a verified, protected one. It takes a few minutes, plus the time our team needs to review your identity documents.
1. Create your account
Go to Sign up and register with an email address or a phone number. Each email or phone number can be used for one account only.
- Your password must be 8 to 20 characters long and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number or symbol.
- You can add a nickname and, if someone invited you, their referral code.
- Depending on the exchange's settings you may also see Google, Apple or Telegram sign-up.
2. Verify your email or phone
We send a 6-digit code by email or SMS. Enter it to activate your account. Each code works once and expires after a short time; if it expires, ask for a new one (you may need to wait a moment before resending).
3. Verify your identity (KYC)
Open Identification. There are two levels:
- ID verification: your personal details, a government ID (for example a passport, national ID or driver's licence; front and back where the document has two sides) and a selfie.
- Address verification: a recent document that shows your address, such as a utility bill, bank statement or internet bill.
After you submit, the status shows as under review until it is verified or rejected. If it is rejected you will see the reason and can submit again.
Verification can raise your daily withdrawal limit, and some features (such as certain staking offers) require it. The exchange may also require it before any withdrawal.
4. Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)
In Security you can protect your account with codes by email, SMS or Google Authenticator. An authenticator app is the safest choice: scan the QR code, then confirm with the code it shows.
You can also switch on login 2FA (a code at every login) and device verification (a code when you log in from a new device).
5. Make your first deposit
Deposit crypto from another wallet or exchange, or add fiat money if your region supports it. See Deposits and Fiat deposits and withdrawals.

I did not receive my code. What can I do?
Check your spam folder or the phone number you entered, wait a moment and tap resend. Each code works once and expires after a short time.
How long does identity verification take?
Submissions are reviewed by the exchange. The status on the Identification page shows when it is verified or if it was rejected, with the reason.
Can I have more than one account?
Each email address and phone number can be used for one account only.
