What are the futures trading fees on Xoibit?

Last updated:

Futures trades on Xoibit pay a maker or taker fee, set per pair. The fee is a percentage of the trade value and is paid in USDT from your Futures wallet. You can see each pair's fees on Trading rules.

Maker vs taker: which one do I pay?

  • Maker: your order was already waiting in the order book and someone else's order filled it. A limit order that does not fill straight away is usually a maker order.
  • Taker: your order filled straight away against an order already in the book, such as a market order or a limit order priced to fill at once.

How is the fee calculated?

Fee = trade value x fee rate. The trade value is the filled price times the size. Leverage does not change the fee: a 1,000 USDT trade pays the same fee at 2x or 20x, which means the fee is a bigger share of your margin at high leverage.

You pay a fee when you open a position and again when you close it, because both are trades. When you place an order, the cost check includes your margin plus an estimated fee at the taker rate, so you always have enough to cover it.

What other costs are there?

  • Funding fees: charged every funding interval on open positions. See what is the funding rate.
  • Slippage on market orders and on TP/SL, which close at market: the fill price can be different from the price you saw.

Where can I see the fees I paid?

  • Trade history shows the fee and whether each trade was maker or taker.
  • Transactions records each fee as Commission, along with realized PnL, funding fees and liquidations.

Fees and funding are taken from your Futures wallet and lower your margin balance. On frequent trades with high leverage, they add up quickly.
