How to use the futures calculator on Xoibit
Last updated:
The futures calculator lets you check a trade before you place it. Open it from the Calculator button on the futures trading page, pick a tab, enter your numbers and press Calculate.
What can it calculate?
- PnL: your initial margin, PnL and ROI for a trade.
- Target price: the exit price you need to reach a certain ROI.
- Liquidation price: the estimated price at which a position would be liquidated.
- Max open: the largest position you can open with a given balance.
On every tab, first choose Long or Short and set the leverage. The calculator uses the pair you have selected and its leverage tiers.
PnL tab
Enter the entry price, the exit price and the quantity. You get the initial margin, the PnL in USDT and the ROI as a percentage of your margin.
Target price tab
Enter the entry price and the ROI you want. You get the exit price that would give that return at your leverage.
Liquidation price tab
Choose Cross or Isolated, then enter the entry price, the quantity and the balance (your wallet balance for cross, or the margin for isolated). In cross mode, the calculator also takes your other open cross positions into account.
Max open tab
Enter the entry price and your balance. You get the maximum position size, in the coin and in USDT, at your leverage and within the pair's tiers.
Results are estimates. They do not include future funding fees or slippage, and the real liquidation price uses the mark price at the time.
常问问题
Why is my real liquidation price different from the calculator?
Your margin balance changes with fees, funding and your other cross positions, and liquidation uses the live mark price.
Does the calculator include fees?
The results are estimates and do not include future funding fees. Check each pair's fees on Trading rules.
