How to buy USDT on P2P on Xoibit

To buy USDT on P2P, open P2P, choose a seller's ad, enter the amount and place the order. Pay the seller with the payment method shown, tap that you have paid, and the seller releases the USDT to your Funding wallet.

Before you start

• P2P uses your Funding wallet. Bought crypto arrives there.
• Add your payment details in Payment methods.
• Meet the P2P requirements set by the exchange, for example a verified email.

Step by step

1. Open P2P, choose Buy and USDT, and your fiat currency.
2. Compare ads: price, available amount, minimum and maximum per order, payment methods and the seller's feedback.
3. Choose an ad and enter how much you want to buy.
4. Place the order. The seller's USDT is locked in escrow while the order is open.
5. Pay the seller outside Xoibit using the payment details shown in the order, before the timer runs out.
6. Tap paid to tell the seller you have paid.
7. The seller checks the payment and releases the USDT to your Funding wallet.

Only tap paid after you have actually sent the money. Use only the payment details shown in the order, and keep the chat inside the order.

What is escrow?

When you place an order, the seller's crypto is locked by Xoibit. The seller cannot spend it elsewhere, and it is only released to you when the seller confirms payment, or after a dispute is decided.

What if the timer runs out?

If you do not mark the order as paid within the payment time limit, the order is cancelled automatically. Some ads allow you to extend the time once. You can also cancel the order yourself before you mark it as paid.

I paid but the seller has not released

Message the seller in the order chat first. If there is still no release, you can open an appeal. See How to appeal a P2P order.

After the order

Leave positive or negative feedback for the seller. You can also follow good traders or block users you do not want to trade with. To use the USDT for spot trading, transfer it to your Spot wallet in Wallet.
