Forgot password: how to reset your Xoibit password

If you forgot your password, open Forgot password, enter your email or phone number, type the code we send you and choose a new password. You can then log in with the new password.

Step by step

1. Open Forgot password, or tap Forgot password on the login page.
2. Enter the email address or phone number of your account.
3. Enter the verification code sent to that email or phone.
4. Choose a new password of 8 to 20 characters with upper-case letters, lower-case letters and a number or symbol.
5. Log in with your new password.

I did not receive the reset code

Check your spam folder or your phone number, wait until the resend timer ends and request a new code. The code expires after a short time. See Verification code not received.

I can't access my email or phone anymore

A password reset needs a code sent to your email or phone. If you lost access to them, use a security reset instead, which lets you replace a lost email, phone or authenticator.

What if I am still logged in?

If you remember your current password and only want a new one, change it in Security under Login Password. You need your old password and a verification code.

Keep your new password safe

• Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
• Turn on Google Authenticator so a password alone is never enough to access your account.
• If you think someone else knew your old password, check Account activity and log out other devices.
