I sent crypto to the wrong network. Can I get it back?
Last updated:
Sometimes, but not always. Report the transaction in Wallet issues with the TxID and full details; it will be reviewed, but recovery of a wrong-network deposit is not guaranteed.
What does wrong network mean?
It means the coin was sent on one blockchain while you selected another on Xoibit. For example, USDT sent on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) to an address you copied for TRON (TRC20), or a token sent on a network that is not open on the deposit page. Because each network is a separate system, the deposit is not credited automatically.
What should I do now?
- Do not send more funds the same way.
- Get the transaction hash (TxID) from the platform you sent from.
- Open it on a block explorer for the network it was actually sent on, and note the coin, amount and destination address.
- Report it in Wallet issues. Choose the coin and network, enter the TxID, amount and destination address, and explain in the note which network was used.
- Follow the status of your report on the Wallet issues page.
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. A wrong-network deposit may not be recoverable, so always check the network on both sides before sending.
Can the sending platform help?
Sometimes. If the funds were sent to an address that does not exist on that network, the sending platform may be able to see what happened. Contact them with the TxID as well.
How do I avoid this next time?
- Select the network on the deposit page first, then copy the address shown for it.
- On the sending platform, choose exactly the same network.
- Use only networks listed on the deposit page for that coin.
- If you are unsure, send a small test amount above the minimum deposit first.

How long does a wrong-network review take?
There is no fixed time. You can follow the status of your report on the Wallet issues page.
Will I get the funds back for sure?
No. Recovery is not guaranteed and depends on the case. Always match the network on both sides before sending.
