How to sell crypto on P2P on Xoibit

To sell crypto on P2P, open P2P, choose Sell, pick a buyer's ad and enter the amount. Your crypto is locked in escrow, the buyer pays you, and you release the crypto after you have checked the money arrived.

Before you start

• Move the crypto you want to sell to your Funding wallet. P2P uses the Funding wallet.
• Add the payment methods where you want to receive money in Payment methods.

Step by step

1. Open P2P, choose Sell, the coin and your fiat currency.
2. Choose an ad that uses a payment method you have, and enter the amount.
3. Place the order. The crypto plus any fee leaves your Funding wallet and is locked in escrow.
4. Wait for the buyer to pay you and mark the order as paid.
5. Check your bank or payment app and confirm the full amount has really arrived.
6. Release the crypto. It goes from escrow to the buyer.

Never release before the money is in your account. Do not trust screenshots or messages that say a payment was sent. Check your own bank or wallet.

What if the buyer does not pay?

If the buyer does not mark the order as paid within the payment time limit, the order is cancelled automatically and the crypto returns from escrow to your Funding wallet.

The buyer marked paid, but I did not receive the money

Do not release. Ask the buyer in the order chat for details. If the problem is not solved, open an appeal so our team can review the order. See How to appeal a P2P order.

Can I sell with my own ad?

Yes. Instead of answering a buyer's ad, you can post your own sell ad with your price and payment methods. For a sell ad, the crypto is locked when you create the ad. See How to post a P2P ad.

Stay safe as a seller

• Check that the payer's name matches the buyer's name on the order.
• Keep all talk in the order chat.
• Leave feedback after the order and block users who behave badly.
