Earn and rewards

How does staking work on Xoibit?

Last updated:

Staking lets you earn rewards on crypto you hold. You choose an offer on Staking, stake an amount from your Spot wallet, and earn a daily reward based on the offer's APR, paid at the end of the period.

Flexible vs locked staking

  • Flexible: you can redeem at any time, and the staking renews automatically.
  • Locked: your crypto is staked for a fixed number of days. You can turn on auto-renew to stake again when the period ends.

How are rewards calculated?

The reward for one day is: amount staked x APR / 365. Rewards build up day by day and are paid at the end of the staking period. The APR of each offer is shown on the offer.

What does an offer show?

  • The APR.
  • The minimum and maximum amount you can stake.
  • The duration (for locked offers).
  • Any requirements, for example identity verification.

You can have one investment per offer.

How do I stake?

  1. Make sure the coin is in your Spot wallet.
  2. Open Staking and choose an offer.
  3. Enter the amount within the offer's minimum and maximum.
  4. For a locked offer, choose whether to auto-renew.
  5. Confirm. Your stake appears in My investments.

Can I redeem a locked stake early?

Yes, but rewards depend on when you redeem. If you redeem before the offer's minimum maturity, you get no reward. After the minimum maturity, you get the reward earned so far.

Where do I see my rewards?

Your active stakes are in My investments, and paid rewards are in Payout history.

APR is an annual rate used to calculate rewards; it is not a promise about the price of the coin. The value of your staked crypto can go up or down.

Why can't I join an offer?

You may already have an investment in it, your amount may be outside the limits, or the offer may need identity verification.

What is APR?

The annual percentage rate. Your daily reward is the amount staked times APR divided by 365.
