P2P trading: ads, orders, payment and disputes

In P2P you trade crypto directly with other users and pay each other with methods such as bank transfer. Xoibit holds the seller's crypto in escrow until the buyer has paid.
Before you start
- Add your payment details in Payment methods.
- Meet the requirements the exchange sets for P2P (for example a verified email).
- P2P uses your Funding wallet. Move crypto there with Transfer.
Buying with an ad
- Choose a sell ad with a good price, limits and payment method, and enter the amount.
- The seller's crypto is locked in escrow and the payment timer starts.
- Pay the seller with the shown method, then tap I have paid before the timer ends.
- The seller checks the payment and releases the crypto to your Funding wallet.
If you have not paid, you can cancel the order. An order that is not marked as paid in time is cancelled automatically. Some ads let you extend the payment time once.
Selling
When you sell, the crypto (plus the fee) is taken from your Funding wallet into escrow when the order is created. Release only after the money is in your account; never because of a screenshot or a message.
Posting your own ad
Set the price, amount, minimum and maximum per order, payment methods, payment time limit and optional terms, auto-reply and requirements for the other side. You can take an ad offline or close it at any time. For a sell ad, the amount and seller fee are held in escrow while the ad is open.
Chat, disputes and feedback
- Each order has a chat with the other user. Keep all communication there.
- If something goes wrong after the buyer marked the order as paid, either side can open a dispute. Our team reviews it and either releases the crypto to the buyer or returns it to the seller.
- After a completed order you can leave positive or negative feedback, and you can block users.
There is a limit on how many open orders you can have and on how many orders you can cancel per day, and you cannot have two open orders with the same user.
