Do I need a memo or tag to deposit crypto?

No. Deposits to Xoibit do not use a memo or tag. Each deposit address belongs only to you, so the address alone is enough.
What is a memo or tag?
Some platforms use one shared address for many customers and add a memo, tag or payment ID to tell the deposits apart. Xoibit gives you your own address for each network instead, so no extra field is needed.
The sending platform asks for a memo. What should I enter?
If the memo field is optional, leave it empty. Make sure you send to the address shown on the deposit page for the network you selected, and on the same network.
Do I need a memo when I withdraw?
Maybe. When you withdraw to another platform, that platform may need a memo or tag to credit you. If it does, enter it in the memo field on the withdrawal page, or save it with the address in your address book.
When withdrawing, a missing or wrong memo can mean the receiving platform cannot credit the funds. Copy the memo exactly as the receiving platform shows it.
Quick check before you deposit
- Choose the coin and network on the deposit page.
- Copy the address shown for that network.
- Send on the same network, with no memo needed.
- Send at least the minimum deposit shown on the page.
